This award is for an individual or group of individuals who have already made significant contributions to the community and/or to their profession and have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service to the community. Anyone may nominate an individual or group of individuals for recognition (including someone from their own business/organization). ONLY chamber member business leaders are eligible for recognition.

nyone may nominate a "chamber member" business for recognition (including their own), and ONLY chamber member businesses are eligible for recognition. For developing and growing an outstanding business, creating innovative product(s), increases jobs, overcoming adversity, and making community contributions. Nominees should be those whose business practices and professional conduct contribute to a sense of fellowship among all local businesses, and which helps to promote Marshall as a good place in which to do business.

The Community Service Award is given to a citizen of the Marshall area as recognition for his or her service which has shown exceptional dedication to the City of Marshall and its people over the course of the previous year. Worthy considerations include interest and commitment to improving the quality of life for all citizens, altruistic leadership/stewardship, consistent volunteerism, enhancement of community and overall ambassadorship (generally speaking, a passion for the people of and life of Marshall).

The Community Service Award makes it possible to bring public attention to those people whose deep sense of public pride compels them to give unselfishly of their time to benefit others in their community. The award may recognize long years of continued service, recent years contribution, or for service during the preceding year.

Marshall Area Youth Network


Eligible nominees must be a Marshall youth organization, or an active 501(c)(3) organization located/operating in the Marshall area. Nominee must exhibit good sportsmanship, dedication to goals, community Service mindfulness and/or leadership qualities.
